We don’t even believe in calling most incidents an accident, as an accident can be described as an occurrence that wasn’t preventable. Even minor incidents invariably lead to more serious occurrences, both of which must be prevented from happening.

Our goal is to be the industry leader in Health, Safety and Environmental being guided by our philosophy that most incidents/ accidents are preventable. Our employees are our greatest and most valued assets therefore health and safety is our highest priority. Leverages Health, Safety & Environment program is behaviour based and focuses on the prevention of loss of life and disabilities to people. Secondly we focus on prevention of damage to equipment and material which we feel includes the environment as our most valuable asset. Our goal of zero incidents and accidents is promoted by the knowledge of safe work practices, employee education, job training, the use of personal protective equipment and continual task specific safety training.

Leverages Health, Safety & Environment program is continually improving. We are committed to reviewing our safety and environment commitment to ensure that we not only meet but also exceed industry standards and legislative requirements. At Leverage safety and environment will be measured and rewarded through safety rewards but most of all through returning home at the end of the day to be with family and friends.
